Alex Lim is the Director of Lite Kabel, one of the leading fiber optic cable manufacturers in Malaysia. With experience spanning more than 20 years, he started his career with the Leader Group and left them in the capacity of Managing Director of Leader Universal Aluminium in 2018. From 2018 to 2020, he was a Division Head at Press Metal Aluminium Rods.

Alex is what you call a telecommunications’ man – his experience and knowledge in this industry is second to none and his expertise is highly sought after. He has vast experience in passive optical network (PON) design, outside plant and in-building ICT and IPTV solutions. He has mobilized full turnkey fiber to the homes (FTTH) projects and extra low voltage (ELV) projects for acclaimed real estate developers in Malaysia.

Lite Kabel, under his leadership, is a pioneer and strategic partner to Telekom Malaysia under the initial stage of high-speed broadband (HSBB) roll-out as part of the initiative by the Malaysian government. He was also instrumental in the development of the FTTH guidelines for Telekom Malaysia during the early years of high-speed broadband (HSBB) roll-out.

Alex graduated from the finance and economics of the University of Arkansas, USA.
